Can't pair devices after update to 1.5.2 @ Hassio

Hi Guys,

I’m really stuck after updating my Hassio zigbee2mqtt add-on to 1.5.2… Had some real issues getting it started after the update ( needed to perform some restores with older snapshots ), after that i got it back working. However none of the devices I had paired did work, so i removed them from the Zigbee2mqtt devices file and all the other config files containing device information.

Now i’m trying to repair the devices, but nothing seems to work… I can’t get any device paired. I’ve tried reinstalling the zigbee2mqtt add-on several times, rebooted the system several times, but nothing seems to work.

Here my config file :

  "devices": "devices.yaml",
  "groups": "groups.yaml",
  "homeassistant": true,

When nothing helps, im forced to get back to a full clean install of hassio since my whole house is dependent of the zigbee network…

Try this solution from antti365
It worked for me

You do everything correctly, except that after each pairing of one device, you need to reset the zigbee2mqtt stick. At least this is what happens to me with Ikea devices …

Reset zigbee2mqtt:

  • stop zigbee2mqtt
  • unplug CC2531
  • plug CC2531
  • press reset button on CC2531 (the one close to the usb port, green light should go off)
  • start zigbee2mqtt
