What is meant by tampering, after all?

Hi,

I have a sonoff door sensor model SNZB-04 and it seems it can tell if it was tampered - it sends its boolean value. I always receive the value as “false”.

How can I test it? How can I “tamper it” in order to get that value as “true”?
The device doesn’t seem to have any other switch, so I wonder if this field is useless or if it has any use…

Any idea?

“Tampering” means that someone is trying to mess around with the device, e.g. trying to get it off the window. If you use it for an alarm system, thats’s probably something you want to know.

Actually I don’t know how this device detects this. Maybe there’s a vibration sensor or something.
