Problem:
In my ZigBee System I have problems with adding new ZigBee devices.
I appreciate every input and idea what I could try to fix this issue. Thank you for your help.
What I have done:
I had a running system with all the devices for now around 2 years. With more and more devices the ZigBee network got less stable. I had to do reconnection of one or two devices maybe every week ones and with the added Ikea Tradfri lamps it got also slow in reaction time. That’s why I decided to replace my old Zigbee coordinator (CC2531) with a newer Sonoff ZBDongle-E and setting up the network from scratch. Because I was reading that the Ikea Tradfri Lamps can be responsible for some problems, I started to connect the battery devices first. With this I wanted to make sure that as many devices as possible can connect directly to the coordinator. This worked pretty well for almost all the devices. I have Xiaomi and Ikea devices in my ZigBee Network.
At some point I wanted to add one of the last devices, the Ikea Tradfri ceiling lamp. But even when de Lamp was blinking/pulsing (factory reset by 7x Power-Reset, ready to connect) nothing happened and the lamp was not connecting. Exactly this lamp was working in my network before of the replacing of the coordinator. And an identical lamp is working right now too. After this I was starting to disconnect three already connected devices to make sure that I have not too many devices connected to the coordinator. Right now there are 25 ZigBee devices connected. Now I’m not able to connect any of this devices (Ikea & Xiaomi). I even tried to bring the Ikea Lamp close to the coordinator and try a connection with Touchlink. The Ikea lamp start to blink/pulse when activated by Touchlink but does not connect to the ZigBee Network.
There is no device blocked, what I have checked in the Zigbee2MQTT WebUI. Over the WebUI I also controlled Touchlink and started the permission for joining for new devices.
What else can I try?
